Greetings Sensei, athletes, and friends,

It is with great pleasure I would like to extend my invitation on the behalf the American Shotokan Karate Federation and the Shotokan Karate Dojo.  We would like to invite you to our second  Invitational Karate Tournament in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

This year, we will have the new Venue of the Fieldhouse USA in Aurora, Colorado.  This the old Sears connected to the Aurora Mall next to In-N-Out Burger.  

This a new sporting event center with there own professional concessions and modern equipment.  The Fieldhouse is a very modern facility and everyone will enjoy it.  

Bleachers are used, so bring your bleacher seats.  Please see our page regarding the Fieldhouse USA’s  rules and guidelines.

This tournament will have nationally certified officials from different areas of the  country, as well as local credited local officials volunteering at the event.  Sensei (not yet named) will be overseeing the Modified USA Karate Rules to insure fair play. 

This year, the Spirit of Denver will only have USA Karate or WKF Referees and judges.  The best of USA Karate will preside over the competition to ensure fair play throughout the event.

The event will provide 4 rings of non-stop action.  USANKF Kata list, Modified USA Karate Kumite , and Rotational Team Kumite

Date – November 8, 2025

Venue – The Fieldhouse USA, 14200 E Alameda Ave, Aurora, CO 80012 (Do NOT confuse this with the Parker Fieldhouse were our friend’s tournament we support in Parker.  This a different place all together.

The first divisions will be staged at 8:15 AM, Opening Ceremony at 8:30, matches start at 9:00.

Coaches and officials must attend 8:15 AM Coaches and Officials meeting.
