Schedule for Spirit of Denver Karate Championships

All divisions were stacked. The order of the events will remain the same, but the tournament director or the Head of Staging reserves the right to change the order in the slightest way possible in order to move the tournament forward as quickly as possible.
 

7:30 Doors Open

8:15 First Staging 35+ divisions Kata and Kumite

Age 5 and below Kata & Kumite all levels

Age 6-7 Kata & Kumite all levels

8:15 Coaches Meeting and Volunteers Meeting (separate)

8:30 Opening Ceremony 

9:00 (Sharp) First divisions start with Kata and kumite with 

9:30 (Approximately) – Staging All Elite Divisions

All Elite Divisions compete in Kata and Kumite

10:30AM (Approximately) (time subject to change)

8-9 Kata & Kumite all levels

Divisions will continue to 18-34 Kata then Kumite directly after kata.

Age 10-11 will continue to be staging and compete.

Continue to end with 18-34 Adv individual kata and kumite divisions

Revolving Team Kumite Stages together and team may form at that time or keep the teams wanted. Teams should be 3 athletes. However, teams can be formed with 2, 3, or 4 athletes. Teams will compete immediately after rings open.
