In principle, the rules are are the same to individual USA Karate kumite . All rules and procedures remain the same with some exemption. Categories Allowed:
All team members must be within the same age group, allowing some variances, with the possibility divisions need to be combined. Depending on the preference of the individual athlete, male and female may be combined.
Duration
a. In Revolving Team Kumite the duration of each match will be 6 minutes running time.
b. The clock will stop only when the Referee requests “Time”. Rotational Team Match . Everything must continue at a continually flow as the time athletes get tired is part of the strategy. Everything must run as continually as possible.
To continue (tsukite) will be given in 30 seconds or fouls will be given. Athletes must start perform almost immediate. I one athletes moves away without engaging or "runs away," not engage immediately with the 30 seconds, a foul must be given.
Any retreat or jumping out of the ring or running away will result in an immediate foul.
Elevation of fouls will remain with the same criteria and elevation of fouls. However, the team will require 76fouls (cross accumulated) per team to be disqualified.

Rotation Team will be composed of 3 competitors and a coach in each round. A team can have 2, 3, or 4 members. Also, if someone does not have a team, they can gather a team at the event ahead of time.

f. A team that does not have 3 competitors at the start of each round MAY compete with 2, 3, or 4 team members. In the event of 4 athletes, all members of the team must compete in at least one round.
g. Each team may have only one reserve, who may be substituted for an injured competitor or if the coach requires. However, this substitution may only be made in the next round.
h. Each competitor must fight at least once and for at least 30 seconds during the prescribed time (6 minutes).
i. If, at the end of the match, one of the competitors has not fought, the team involved will be disqualified (HANSOKU).
j. In the final seconds of the allotted time, a competitor can fight for less than 30 seconds if the change was requested by the Coach and validated by the Change Judge.
k. EXCEPTION: If one team reaches an advantage of “10 point spread” (3 Ippon, 2 waza-ari, or/and yuko 1 combination) ahead of the other team and before the time-up bell is sounded, their team will be declared the winner even if the other members of his team did not fight. This is the event of a 10 point spread, no total or celling of points.
Criteria For Deciding The Winning Team
There will be no limit to the number of points that may be scored. Each team may score as many points as its competitors are capable of, during the prescribed time of 6 minutes, or a 10-point spread (4-14).
However, if one of the teams reaches an advantage of a ten point spread, the team ahead wins.
At Time-Up, the winner will be the team who scored more points (total score) than the opponent team, during the prescribed time.
All penalties will have remain the same as USA Karate rules for fouls. However, the accumulated amount of fouls is 6. In other words, the combined team fouls can reach to 6 without disqualification. In the event of 8 fouls, the team will be disqualified.
All penalties are cross accumulate for each team. All fouls remain in the same category, just as in USA Karte rules.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided by how many Ippons have been awarded for the entire team. If there is still a tie, the most wazari will conclude a winner. If there is still now winner, ENCHO-SEN of i minute with an extension of 1 minute will be extended with a four point celling, Points erased but fouls remain from team fouls from previous matchs. In the event there is still no winner the winner will be chosen by decision (Hante).
